I've had 3 balls of white crochet thread hanging around for quite some time and I've decided to crochet filet mesh to use as a net curtain for the kitchen window.
... It's gonna take ages! The crochet thread I'm using isn't the high quality mercerised thread I like to use for filet crochet, it's less stiff, therefore softer and hangs better (for the purpose of a net curtain). At the moment it's about 68cm wide and 13cm long..... Yeah, I'll probably run out of thread in less than 20cm time 🦔
I'm working width-ways and it takes about 15 mins for me to crochet 1 line! I've got the snooker World Championship keeping me company, come on Murphy!
